    Is there an option to switch between soap and bulk API?

    Yes, Soap API is used normally, but BULK API is used to replicate bulk records. You can do this by selecting the checkbox Use BULK API in Salesforce details tab.

    Hello,
    i am getting connection timeout when i set to use Bulk API. my proxy is set both globally and on tomcat startup.

    set JAVA_OPTS=-Dhttp.proxyHost=xxxxxxxxx.com -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080

    Can you please check if the proxy is set in global properties on UI . Also are you able to login to salesforce using that proxy from browser.
