DBSync stores the unique value from QuickBooks in a field called QuickBooks id which is an external id in Salesforce. When reading a data with an id let’s say ‘x’ from quickbooks in multiple syncs, if a record with the QuickBooks Id ‘x’ is already present, it will update the same record instead of creating new ones. Hence creation of duplicates are prevented.

DBSync installs its Managed package in your Salesforce Organization which creates a set of Fields, Apex pages, and Apex triggers which is required for the integration to Work. Also, DBSync creates default page layouts in Accounts, Contacts, Opportunity, Opportunity Product and Products in Enterprise and higher editions of Salesforce. You can either choose DBSync Page layout or customize you current page layout by adding DBSync required fields into it.

DBSync for Salesforce and QuickBooks is the easiest and quickest way to integrate your Salesforce data with QuickBooks. DBSync has a set of pre-built integration processes that does the following:

    > Customer/Account BiDirectional Sync.
    > Syncs newly won Opportunities from Salesforce to your choice of Invoice, Sales Order, Estimate or Sales Receipt in QuickBooks. Trigger field (generate in Salesforce Opportunity) should be set as Either Invoice, Estimate, SalesOrder or Sales Receipt accordingly, and also opportunity line item is required.
    > Item (QB)/Product(SF) BiDirectional Sync.
    > Updates Inventory Item quantities in Salesforce (one-way, QuickBooks Desktop)
    > Syncs Invoices,Estimates,SalesOrders and SalesReceipts created in QuickBooks to Salesforce
